Humboldt Trinity Recreation Alliance strengthens the safety, resilience, and well-being of the Mad River community by providing disaster preparedness, emergency relief, food security, and year-round programs that support residents of all ages. The organization ensures that residents have access to essential resources and support during wildfires, extreme heat, storms, outages, road closures, and other events that isolate our rural region. 

     HTRA operates community facilities and services that offer shelter, backup power, food distribution, and critical emergency support. The Alliance collaborates with public-safety agencies and volunteer emergency teams-including fire, medical, search-and-rescue, and community response partners to enhance local emergency capacity and protect lives in Southern Trinity. 

      Beyond emergency response, the Alliance delivers educational programs, preparedness training, youth and senior activities, volunteer coordination, and community-development initiatives that strengthen the social fabric of our region. Through compassion, preparedness, collaboration, and responsible stewardship, Humboldt Trinity Recreation Alliance works to build a safer, stronger, and more connected Mad River where every resident has access to the support and resources needed to remain safe, empowered, and resilient.
